MJA's 2026 Investigative Reporting Grant

MJA invites journalists to an essential information session for the Investigative Journalism Grants 2026. This comprehensive session will detail the application requirements, the pitching process, and the resources available to help execute impactful investigative stories.

About the Grant:

• Covers reporting expenses of up to USD 800 for winning pitches.
• In addition to financial backing, grantees will receive dedicated mentorship support and expert advice throughout their reporting process.

Mandatory Attendance & Eligibility:

• Attendance at this information session is strictly mandatory for all prospective applicants.

Only journalists who attend this session can submit pitches for the 2026 grant.

• To ensure nationwide accessibility, special arrangements for online participation can be made for journalists based outside the Greater Male Area.
